The focus of this design was to complement the original as we renovated and enlarged this 1930's brick house.  Our clients appreciated the gracious proportions and intricate details of their home but needed to update it to suit how they live.  In the spirit of this well-made house, we replicated details in many cases and reinterpreted them in others.  The details throughout allowed our craftsmen to shine.

We created a breakfast room off the kitchen with a strong connection to the yard and pool.  A sunroom above the garage was renovated and opened to an enlarged family room that overlooks the pool.  A second floor bay creates a sitting niche in the enlarged master bedroom and provides a compositional element to relate to the breakfast room on the exterior.
